SafeCare 1000
“The Protective Cleaner”
An Environmentally Conscious Solution suitable for hospitals, food processing, schools, nursing homes. offices, factories, etc..

What is SafeCare 1000 ?
A unique cleaning product that provides an alternative for environmentally aware companies who appreciate and understand the need to use non-toxic industrial chemical products. Using cutting edge technology SafeCare1000 offers the industrial user a powerful and effective cleaner/degreaser without the environmental or personal hazards associated with traditional toxic chemistries, SafeCare1000 relies upon renewable plant-based chemistries that are safe to use, store and dispose of and comply with all applicable OSHA, SARA, SNAP, USEPA and USDA regulations for safety. SafeCare1000 will not damage the cleaning surface or react with other chemistries.
Comprised solely of plant based materials, SafeCare 1000 contains alcohols, fatty acids, esters, waxes, suponifiers, chelators, enzymes and other fractions from soy, com, palm kernel, walnut, safflower, sunflower, canola and cotton seed. The surfactants created by SafeCare, consist of long-chain molecules; one end likes water (hydrophilic) whilst the other end likes oil and dislikes water (hydrophobic). When these surfactants are placed in water, the hydrophobic ends attract each other and repel water, and rearrange themselves into a spherical structure with the hydrophobic ends inside the sphere at its nucleus. And the hydrophilic end on the outer surface of the sphere. This sphere is called a micelle.
The hydrophobic ends begin to orient themselves on the surface of the soil, lifting it from the cleaning surface to become part of a micelle, thus cleaning the surface. When combined with water, micelles break water’s surface tension, resulting in “super-wet” water. That same action allows the micelles to penetrate organic soils and to hold them in liquid suspension. In effect the micelle cleaning action is unique and can only be related to the effect of an atomic explosion. Micelles enable us to clean soils without damaging the cleaning surface.

Advantages of SC 1000 over other cleaner / degreasers
SC1000 is a ternary, non-ionic surfactant system which does it’s cleaning by causing fats, greases, lipids, oils, proteins and sugars to simply repel from the cleaning surface without reacting or damaging the surface.
Does not:
- contain caustics such as sodium metasilicate
- contain builders, such as foaming agents or re-agents like oxidizers or bleaches.
- contain chlorinated solvents or any petroleum based derivatives
- contain phosphates, silicones, acrylics or acetones
- react with other chemistries, such as chlorine bleach to create toxic gases
- contain glycol ethers
Is non-flammable and non-fuming
Is non-toxic to mammals
Is non-toxic to aquatic life at recommended use dilutions
Is anti-oxidant in nature and will not oxidize or degrade metal, rubber, vinyl, plastic or glass
May be used as a protectant for metal, painted surfaces, fibre glass, plastic, rubber or vinyl.
Will not harm fabrics
Will not harm sewer bacteria
Will not separate or precipitate out at freezing or superheat conditions
Will not loose its strength from evaporation, unlike caustic or solvent based surfactant cleaners
Will reduce bacteria count on surfaces such as hospital floors even without quaternary ammonia by removing the protein that bacteria feed upon which other cleaners do not.
Does not have hazardous VOC’s (Volatile Organic Compounds)
Does not require special handling such as protective gloves or face masks
SAFE CARE products rely on renewable plant-based chemistries that are safe to use, store and dispose of and comply with all applicable, OSHA, SARA, SNAP, USEPA and USDA regulations for safety and meets the requirements for;
USDA A1 General Cleaning & L1 Drain/Sewer Acceptable
